The Pronouncement is that big, joyful moment near the end of the ceremony when the officiant declares the couple officially married. It’s short, celebratory, and often includes the invitation to kiss.

By the power vested in me by the state of Massachusetts, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss!

By the power vested in me, surrounded by the love of your family and friends, it is my great joy to now pronounce you married. You may seal your vows with a kiss.
